EVENT PRESS: ""Sentimentrees" by Gary Ham is based around the characterization of his own sentimental childhood memories. If the things we loved as a spawn can amble and converse, come again? Would their childhood be like?
To the same extent children, we maxim our treehouse as a trusted alone and sanctuary; as adults we distinguish a wood box nailed into tree brushwood. "Sentimentrees" brings us back to bearing in mind our playthings through the optimism and unrestricted love of our youth. "
"Sentimentrees" is a solo show by Gary Ham launching November 1st at Stranger Factory and exhibiting thru December 1st (with an opening reception on Friday, November 1st from 6-9PM.). Shown here up top, is his piece titled "Treehouseman".
