Legitimacy be told, I was pretty excited to progress to MACHINE56's stand to cut a little prints, endlessly since since his product (thanks to a headsup from ANTZ) and seminar Yoga in Bandung 2009, I had been a fan of his design aesthetics and vector product. How possibly will a person not be? LOL

So whilst I knew he was appearance to Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention and setting up store in Artist Alley, it was destined I'd be plowing thru his collection and bringing a little prints home-based … and via his generosity, I was more than replete! Now if you listed his prints up in support of trade on his online store, individuals who missed STGCC would be def in a talk of!

I chief purchased a print of this image, next to Star Wars Day Jakarta back in May 2013, and having the opportunity to distinguish the real thing inked artwork from the dancer himself next to Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention this day (sharing a closet with Ario Anindito), I absolute to nominate this mine and credit to Rukmunal Hakim, this is my chief (paid) real thing artwork!

About That "Malinky Robot" Press Kit from Sonny Liew

Besides the PINOCCHIO resin suppose Sonny Liew had on fair next to his closet in Artist Alley representing Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention, come again? Wedged my attention was a detail box with a "Malinky Robot" decal on the cover, and conclusion improbable from sonny to facilitate it was in reality a "Press Kit" released next to the stage destined to promote the graphic novel, but was on deal followed by (first notion in my mind: "Free Before, Now On Sale") … and ahead opening the package, was right now charmed by the contents inside, as well as a printed currency (seen in the book), a faux printed newspaper/newletter, a album of images ("press kit", remember?), and of avenue, the graphic novel itself.

What in reality 'sold' me to finish purchasing the box, was the inclusion of a hand-made cigarette box "prop" based on the solitary in the hardback (which held trading cards of the typeset, which i notion was AWESOME hahahaha) - i love details like to facilitate, the sucker than i am hahahaha

And promptly, the kit is mine - signed on the box, rejection a reduced amount of - and now are a quantity of snaps of it to share :)

How I Burst My Toy Budget At INSTINCTOYS @ #STGCC 2013

One of the chief a small number of people I had met on the chief generation of Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention was QiSheng, who was generous an adequate amount to own me peep into his bag, to distinguish the toys he bought from well branded Japanese brand INSTINCTOY, and he had on hand to remove from packaging representing me to snap pictures of (seen above), to which I had promptly made my way eventually to INSTINCTOY's closet next to Artist Alley, to fulfill my willful toy-lust lol


And I could not stay away and went back again the second day, and walked away with more figures, including the boxless "display sample" MUCKEY. INSTINCTOY had truly taken most of my toy-money for STGCC hahahahaha my biggest 'regret' was being unable to afford both the Rainbow inc and Baby inc, and eventually leaving the baby blue cutie behind … *man-sob*

And kudos to Indra, Wijaya and Eric of the #brotherhoodoftoys for the headsup about the black inc availability. So here are straight-up score snaps to share … so that I can somewhat lie to myself these were purchased for 'work' and not just for my own pleasures muahahahahahaha ;p
