Making a display debut at the event was also "Locket and Phainein",m a collaboration between J*RYU (sculpted) & Bjornik (painted) with this piece sized 3.75" and priced at US$250 per.

would've loved to be able to afford any of these babies, but I am stoked to receive this printed tote bag from Aaron. forgot to ask you to sign it tho! …Come to think of it, I have zero items signed or drawn from any of the gentlemen… *sigh*…

Seen on exhibit next to Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention (via the Play Imaginative booth) were two 1/6th-scale products due in collaboration with IND and Danny Chan (whom I had the pleasure to touch as I was hobbling my way of of the event antechamber on Day 1 haha) - the chief of which is OLD MASTER Q - in two editions (and not similar clothes as I had chief expected) - both celebrating the 50th anniversary of "老夫子"!


I am frankly extremely excited about this figure, as it brings me back to the days of youth, when I devoured the comic digests, and as well I was a huge fan of their "Legend of the Water Margin" ("水虎傳") adaptation, so the kung-fu tunic garb is a MUST for me hahahaha

Kudos for P.I. for helping bring back a slice of nostalgia for me, personally. No product or availability info as yet tho :p


Another item of interest, was the debut display of the blonde-haired "Shi Hei Long" from infamous manhua "Tiger Dragon Gate" (aka 龍虎門)! Seen with an interchangeable head, depicting it's comicbook caricature design, Danny also mentioned that his two other compatriots will be included!

Super Alloy New 52 Justice League

Seen on exhibit next to Play Imaginative's closet next to Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention were prototypes of forthcoming Super Alloy 1/6 degree articulated court case information from DC Comics' The New 52 Justice League, with people having the good fortune to check improbable the 5 typeset, featuring Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Cyborg (no "Wonder Woman" tho) - all based on jim lee's do over representing the comicbooks.

Looking much more impressive than online images I own posted around, I discovery myself really liking this bracket together - promptly seen closer - and be pleased about the diversity provided, versus the purely Iron male depicted cycle seen so far, IMHO.

Hammer Drones in 1/12 from Play Imaginative

We first saw them in person at the Media Preview for STGCC, then in full display force at Play Imaginative's booth at Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention, featuring the Super Alloy "Hammer Drones" in 1/12 scale aka standing 6 inches tall. If you know your "Iron Man" movies, these guys made an appearance in IM2, battling both Tony "Iron Man" Stark and Jim "Warmachine" Rhodes at the fair, before whiplash arrived on the scene!

With 4 designs / colorways shown, there are currently no further product or availability details as yet, but I reckon this a nice form to adapt, and not necessarily "another' Iron Man armored variation, IMHO.

Play Imaginative @ Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention 2013 was pretty "Iron Man"-ccentric, with multiple displays of their 1/4 and 1/12 array of Iron male rock-hard information, and not forgetting their super alloy 1/6. To the same extent well a 1/1-scaled assess 42 sat next to the couch, rejection doubt a comber photo-op representing attendees (I would've loved a snap truth be told, but I can hardly linger in queue representing it haha). To the same extent well comic dancer Adi Granov and DEVILROBOTS were invited guests, who were constantly beset by fans and crowds, I can not even comprehend a shot in LOL

The cheeky-side of me sighs a deep solitary, as I was not able to grab a snap with the sexy "Ironettes" hahaha




With the focus currently on licensed characters from Marvel and DC, the designer vinyl element of P.I. has but dwindled to a handful, most notably licensed characters from Disney, DC Comics, SpongeBob SquarePants, Paul Frank, Happy Tree Friends, with DEVILROBOTS' TO-FU Oyako being the sole representation of the "art toy crowd". Check out the new Panda TO-FU figure nestled at the back of the stand.

I was auspicious to own been next to Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention on Day One what time Samantha Lo aka SKL0 was on administer next to the Mighty Jaxx closet performing 'live' screen printing - with the assistance of Ms 'Ratking' (which I was demanding my unsurpassed not to perv … c'mon, how can you not? YOU LIE ;p), the effect of which were made offered representing known consumption, with the theme parallelling her "CULTURED" pre-order emancipation next to STGCC.


The description on the prints really clarified the concept even further than the resin collectible, methinks. Nevertheless, I am unsure if any of the prints are still left post-STGCC, and reckon you should bug MJ directly for availability ;p

Apologies I could have get any closer as the wall of people around the worktop was by then unmovable!
